I am ttc. Last month was my first month on clomid (50 mg). My Dr. sent in my prescription so I didn't see the dosage until I was picking it up (of course it was to late to call) and was shocked that I was given 200 mg for my second month. I am worried about the huge dosage increase. I was expecting 100 mg or 150 mg, which is what the nurse told me it would increase to. I am supposed to take it today, what do I do?

My LH was at 5.1 and FSH was at 9.8 before the clomid. I was told by Dr. That the new levels were "perfect" when I had my blood test on day 22.

Really worried about the new dosage, but don't want to mess up if that is what I need to do...any suggestions or comments? Thanks!

To me... And I'm not a medical professional at all. That seems like too much. My Dr. Gives 50mg for the first 3 months and then has you come back to figure out a new plan... More meds etc... If the tests were perfect, do they mean you in fact did ovulate? I don't see why you would take more if the drug if you ovulate on 50mg already? Sorry I'm not much help!
