Question about Clomid

I had a follow up appointment with my FS last week and I asked her about Clomid. All my results have come back fine, I've had the CD5 and CD21 blood tests, lap and dye and HSG which have all come back fine. I've also had ultrasounds which confirmed no cysts and that my lining for that time of my cycle was fine. She also said my ovaries looked absolutely fine, although she couldn't find my left one! My husband's results however weren't as great. She said his sperm count wasn't great but not bad. His count was 17 million, not sure about the rest, i.e. morphology, mobility, etc, although I know one of those was 3%. I asked her if I would be considered being put on clomid because from my understanding this helps to release more eggs which would surely help me get pregnant if my husband's count is slightly low but she said it wouldn't be considered because there's nothing wrong with me. Is that right or do you think that clomid would help? Not that it really matters anyway because she isn't going to give it to me but I'm just curious x
