Question about hungry baby milk!

When I done our food shop last week I accidentally picked up and bought a tub of Cow and Gate hungry baby formula instead of their stage 3 follow on milk. I didn't realise until I got home. Anyway, I went to take it back today (it is unopened and sealed still) but I was told they cannot accept it due to government law in case it has been injected with something, which is fair enough.

Anyway, my question is, is it ok to feed LO this milk? She is almost 8 months and is on 2 solid meals a day. Will is affect her appetite for solid food? Cause other issues I am not aware of?

Im sure it will be fine. Follow-on milk is more casein based and more like Hungry baby milk, whereas first milk is more whey dominant. So follow-on milk is more similar to Hungry milk than to First milk. xx
