Lily is still averaging 60mls each feed with the occassional massive 80ml. She's 3 weeks old and I don't know whether I should be trying to get her to eat a bit more. She was a tiny bit early at 37+1 but has a bit of a wind problem so at night I just don't have the heart to push her to eat more as I can see if causes her pain. :(

What do people think? Is it for her own good if I try to get her to eat more? She has not lost any weight since coming home and has gained 1lb 4.

Hi hun, u cant push a baby to have more. Prepare a larger feed for night & let her take what she wants. When she's full, she will let u knw :)

If she hasnt lost weight but gained some then she is doing fine on the amount she is taking and will sone let you know when she is ready for a larger feed (normaly at 3am in the middle of a growth spurt) :)
