question about OPK's

We're finally looking into getting OPK's, has anyone had luck finding them at drugstores are do you have to get them online no matter what?

In the UK they can be bought in drug stores and supermarkets. They will be cheaper to buy in bulk online, but once the first month is done you'll have a better idea of when O is and probably only need 1 box of about 5 each month, maybe 2 boxes on the first month as you'll test sooner than you need to just to make sure you catch it and don't miss it.

My O day is usually CD12/13 so i don't start testing till CD10/11 once you have that positive there is no need to test after unless you want to see if it has passed.

100% truth lol i've never had a BFP in my 11 going on 12 years.... always wondered what it looked like lol

in two plus yrs i have put much money into them..lol so far i like answer brand...you can get them online or store and there VERY reliable...

they go for 17 to 19 dollars depending where you get them....

i found them as good as clear blue digis...hope thishelps....

if you want to buy them online try ebay or amazon ...oh yea you get 20 and sometimes added free pregnancy test on some always handy LOL

Thanks justhoping, will be looking around but unfortunately won't be able to afford any extra spending such as OPK's since our main pipe in the basement decided to burst putting us back a hefty amount so we're gonna be tight for a little while. But, on the upside it gives me a chance to compare prices and what not before making the decision to go online or at the drug store.

sometimes i know the girls that are a bit further along in there pregnancy have tons of opks left and are happy to just give them away

i dont know if there is a forum like that here or what not.......if so that would be great for you

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. We're grasping onto every good feed we can get honestly. Luckily after all we were able to keep a small stream of water so we're not completely out, just we had to make a home made shower to wash.

Selling or trading on BnB is against the rules on here but still was a good idea to throw in the air. So far I've checked two drug stores in the area and no opk's. Going to Walmart in two weeks (can only go occasionally because it's an hours drive away just one way) Going to check there just for the price!

Oh hey Tami! I know you're in Canada too so thought I'd chime in. I usually get mine at walmart. They're way cheaper there than at Shoppers. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how much they are bc haven't bought any in a few months. Online would still probably be cheapest but I just go to walmart bc it's easier for me.

amazon it for sure...that way you can buy in 'bulk'....I think buying them at the drugstore will probably make them more expensive, especially if it's an actual chemist. I just got 20 for about £3....probably can buy them in even larger amounts!
