If you make a few bottles up, do you put the Gaviscon sachets in when you make them OR do you add it/them after you've warmed the bottle and are about to feed it to bubs? I've been adding the sachet directly before feeding (only because it says to use immediately). Just wondering what everyone else does....

I add them just before or after warming the milk not when I make up the formula.

I used it with my last 2 babies and I alsways added just before warming as I found if I put it in when the bottle was warm it went lumpy! Maybe just me though lol.

Thanks girls - just wanted to check!

Yep i add it after warming aswell,

i add it to expressed milk so i just add it after ive rewarmed, thats how the HV / doctor said to do it in bottles so i do it like that cos i figured they know hehe

x

Yeah i too add it to warmed milk, otherwise i find it doesnt dissolve so well and goes a bit lumpy :(

yeah I added it afterwards cos it makes the milk really thick and cos courtney was on comfort anyway the milk was super thick!!

we add it after we've warmed the bottle up, right before feeding him.

keely.
