Question for ladies with Bjorn carriers...

I swapped the crappy mothercare 4 way carrier that I got as a present when I had Olivia for a Bjorn and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Already this morning I've tidied the whole house, put two wash loads on etc etc

My question is that I've heard many of you talking about feeding your LO's with them in the carriers...but how do you do it? What is the best way to adjust it, and what is the best thing to wear? We are planning a trip to the park next week and if I could feed on the go with her in the Bjorn it would be fabby.

I bought one 2 days ago and I love it too, very handy!
I was told at the shop though that the only thing you cant do in the carrier is bf..I would love to know how the others are doing it too?

What I did was, get Brenn in the carrier, and then loosen the straps, so that he would be lower down my body, and his mouth would be nipple level. I would get him latched on and just throw a thin blanket over him to cover us up. Wear something that you can get your boob out easily. haha I would usually do this in the car, so I could use the car to hide what I was doing but you could also probablyt get her latched on under the blanket with a bit of practice. This was the only way I got any grocery shopping done when BRenn was tiny. And no one every said a word, or even really noticed what we wer doing.

I didnt feed while wearing my Bjorn but only because I never thought to! I think ring slings are easier but if you get them at the level Samantha described, it's obviously doable!

Well....I just had a practice run walking round the house and its actually pretty easy! She was happy guzzling away and even unlatched herself for a burp! Thanks girls! hugs:
