Howdy fellow mamas!

So I'm currently 5DPO TTC baby #2. I've been TTC now for about 4 months. DS1 is currently 17 months old and I'm still nursing him (totally unexpected but here we are).

Anyway, I've had some (by some I mean very little) sensitivity nursing around ovulation time, but holy moly today it HURTS! Like, I just started breastfeeding a newborn type hurt.

My question for you all is: could this be a pregnancy symptom? Is this a sign my milk supply is getting low/ drying up? I have no experience to judge any of this by as I'm breastfeeding my first child.

Thanks for your help!

hello,

congratulations on TTC baby number 2.
I was exclusively breastfeeding my baby when I got pregnant. I came back on my periods 6 weeks after childbirth, which was early for me this time around.

I will admit I didn’t notice any changes during ovulation but when I was pregnant I could notice an instant decrease in my supply of milk. It was also a lot more sensitive during the first few weeks, I would feel pain at the initial latching on.
I also know a friend who found out she was pregnant while boob feeding because she was in so much pain while feeding.

i hope it is a sign for you xxx

Hi @co_fostermom ! I think we were pregnant at the same time a few years back! I'm also back here with an unexpected natural BFP! Now that I think back, my nipples hurt a lot very early in this pregnancy when I breastfed even before my BFP! It's calmed down quite a bit but they are still more tender than usual. I hope you get your BFP!
