Question for moms with kids from two different fathers

Hey everyone,

Something thats been worrying me is reading articles saying your child can turn out looking like your ex. This would horrify me and my current partner who want to have a kid. Has anyone had children with two different fathers, or children with a new partner after having sexual relations with an ex partner and if so did your child resemble your ex? I cant find much info on this topic online and I am very concerned, aside from the study only being done in fruit fly’s more and more people are saying your womb holds dna from previous sexual partners.

Absolutely not. I have 2 children from two different dad's my first is dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes and loads of features from his dad. My second born is the image of his dad. Clearly I don't have strong genes as both boys look like their dads. But they don't look alike at all. My youngest is fair with fairer skin and hazel/green eyes. I wouldn't worry at all as I've never seen it and know plenty of blended families who would agree too.

Hey love didn't want to read and run but my first has a different dad, everyone says she looks like me but I can see her dad in her with some of her faces she pulls but that is it, my current partner can see her dad sometimes but she is more like me, I can understand your worry tho ad that was my first thought weather she would reassemble her dad or not but she doesn't. Hope that helps a little xx
