Hello Ladies,

I've been MIA the last few weeks, just needed to give my mind some time to rest, but my body is really messing around.

Prior to ectopic which was treated with with methroxite (spelling is wrong I know) my cycles were 28 days on the money, (with the exception being the 1st miscarriage)

Since then these have been my dates, my cycles seem abnormally short.

July 29th 1st cycle starts after ectopic
August 10th O
August 23rd 1DP
expected 0 Sept 1-5 although my money is on the 4th(I was in Vegas so was too lazy to test)
Sept 13 which would be 9DPO little spotting, was really hoping was implantation bleeding...
Sept 14th dark discharge but only a little and some spotting.. took test BFN.
Sept 15th more spotting took test BFN
Sept 16th full on period cramps/blood awful
Sept 17th... still cramps still some blood but not much at all.

To me these cycles seem really short like 25 days or less, should I be concerned, or is this just my body trying to get back into it's grove? Thanks so much

It's most likely your body just trying to get back to normal. I had methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy in February 2012 (didn't work though ended up in emergency surgery) , but my cycles stayed at 25 days til just this past May, since then I have had 26 or 27 days cycles, and I had always had 28 day cycles before the methotrexate. I had also had another ectopic and 2 miscarriages and they never affected my cycle length.

As far as your bleeding, is that normal for you? My flow days or heaviness never changed after methotrexate, but everyone's body is different. Your last one seems a little short, if you start getting any severe cramping I'd definitely call your doc to ask their opinion. Best wishes to you!

Thanks. It's definitly odd for me, typically was 28 days, 3 days of bleeding or so. Now it's like 1.5 days, which is wonky!

I see my family doc on friday on an unrelated matter, so think I will ask her. I'm also considering taking a little bit of a baby trying break, and just focus on enjoying life with the hubby.

Sometimes a break is a good idea, we took a few months off after our last loss, I wasn't up for trying again right away emotionally. It did help me out alot not having all that pressure on me each month. I hope everything works out for you when you do start trying again.

Its your body getting back into the swing of things hun - I remember how much I hated the 3 months after the Ectopic- I was also treated with Methotrexate, Ectopic happened June 24th and we were on Holiday Sept 24th 8 days after AF and I still had brown CM :-( FX your body will sort itself out ASAP xxxx

Thanks! My Dr is great, but really really hard to get a hold of, so I don't even want to bother with an appointment.

I'm hoping this month goes back to normal. I never know what is normal for me because i have two uteruses (uteri?) which is extremely confusing!
