So, in March, I suffered a ruptured ovarian cyst on my right side. It was not severe, but supremely painful in the moment and ached for a week or so afterward. I had an ultrasound, (one of those fun dildo cam ones, ick) and the tech saw no other cysts other than the one on my left side which was about to release an egg. Everything was normal. But, this month when I was to ovulate on the right again, my ovulation pain was slightly increased. I usually feel little twinges of pain when I o on the right, less when on the left, but it was pretty painful this time. It is completely possible I was reading into it because I have been worried about it, but has anyone out there experienced this? Could my relatively recent rupture cause pain nearly two months later?
Thanks for any advice. I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS btw. This is my first experience with cysts. My doc told me she felt one at my last exam, almost a year ago, and said it was normal. I don't know.
