Questions about weaning -BLW or spoonfed?

As a side note, watch salt intake. BLW is brilliant but you can't literally feed *everything* you eat unless you watch your ingredients very carefully or cook everything from scratch. For example, garlic ciabatta is great if you've made it yourself with unsalted butter and garlic, but the ciabatta will be high in salt so you should watch intake for the rest of the day. Shop bought garlic bread would be a no no for me as it will contain additives and extra salt to make it tasty.

I tot up the salt content over each day - if I feed LO crumpets for breakfast (I buy the lowest content type) then he won't get anything else that day containing salt (no bread etc). Cheese is great but also contains salt so I watch that too.

I love BLW but I can see why some health professionals don't advocate it as it is a lot of effort to ensure you really are feeding LO suitable foods. It's a lifestyle for the whole family IMO.

What about yoghurts and fruit pots? Doing BLW can you still offer these?
