I'm currently pumping some milk for my son as I'll be away this Wednesday evening. Shall I put it in the freezer or will it be ok in the refrigerator? I know it says 3-5 days it's ok the refrigerator but I'm just not sure? Wouldn't want my milk to waste.

Thanks :flow:

Personally I'd freeze it and take it out night before but I know the advice is 3-5 days is fine.

Id personally pop it in the freezer as it be fresher Once lifted out x

Ok so I put it in the refrigerator this morning. Is ok to put into freezer now after its been in refrigerator ? X

It would still be okay to freeze.

Have you frozen and defrosted your milk before?
I only ask before some women have higher levels of lipase in their milk. When defrosted,it smells almost sour (but it's not).some babies will still drink it, some won't (like my lo).
In my case I have to give him milk that has not been previously frozen.

Just good for thought :)
