Hi Ladies, just a quick question.
Does anybody know if it is unsafe to use Radox Muscle Therapy Bath Soak during pregnancy? I have read mixed reviews over the Radox bath salts and have decided to avoid them so instead i have bought this Radox (its the red one)

Any advice ASAP would be greatly received as my muscles are achy and im gagging to get in the tub for a soak!

Thanks xxx

I don't understand why there would be a problem? I use the stress release one on a regular basis and never had an issue :flower:

I used that the whole time in the start of my pregnancy (before I moved to my new house with no bath..boo!) and no problems. Enjoy your bath, I'm so jealous of you right now; a shower just isn't the same!! :haha:

I've been using it to hun wouldn't worry about it :)
Unless it has a warning about using it during pregnancy it will be fine x

Totally fine. Im sure the salts are as well TBH. With all these things if you couldnt use them in pregnancy they would tell you on the box/bottle. x

the reason you are hearing this is because the blue muscle soak one has clary sage in it which is thought to bring on labour - i have used it and has not done anything for me so not sure there is any truth in it to be honest

^mummy mac is right, the worries are over the Clary Sage one. However I wouldn't expect it to do anything unless baby is ready. But I'm one of these people who just decides against using anything with concerns anyways!

I have a question on top of her question. I read that baths were not that recommended for pregnant ladies but it seems like a lot have them and I want one. Is it okay in the 3rd trimester?

It's okay at any point but it can't be too
Hot. You should test it as if it were for a baby (body temp)

Hot baths can make you feel a bit faint and raise your body core temperature which can have an effect on the baby.

So it's fine, just so long as its not hot

Yes. Ive had a bath every single day since getting pregnant and sometimes twice since being in third as its the only thing that helps my back. x
