What are peoples thoughts on Quinn and what gender comes to mind?

I love Quinn. I actually was considering it as a middle name for a girl. I do consider it unisex and I think it totally works for a boy, however personally I prefer it for a girl :)

I love Quinn. I'd like to use it, for either gender but DH doesn't like it as it's too trendy :(. It makes me picture a guy at first but I definitely think it works for either gender and seems to be used more for girls nowadays.

I like it and thinking for a boy. I'm in the UK - and it's not on top 100 etc.

One of my good friends in college was a male Quinn and it suited him perfectly! So I prefer it for a boy, but it seems to be more popular for girls these days.

I love it oh says no though! I thinks it's Definatley unisex! Xx

Like it lots, always thought it was a boys name. However, I feel like it's been taken over for a girl in the last few years such that I wouldn't consider it for a boy anymore. Unfortunately. Some of my favorite boys names such as Addison and Avery have gone the same way.

I think of Quinn from that mediocre American show a few years back Sliders.

I love Quinn and think it goes with either gender but maybe more girl :)

Out of interest - are those who say Quinn for a girl in the US or UK?

I like it. I would use it for a girl. I am in the UK btw

I'd say it's more of a girls name, but it is definitely unisex and could be either!

I like it  It's a name I've liked since my teens. I'd use it for a boy.

I think there's an old song called The Mighty Quinn.

I'm in the UK

I'm UK and I said for a girl, but deffo a unisex name x

I like Quinn - it's unisex and nice for either gender! I'm in the US though and in the past few years it seems to have become very popular for girls.

I just checked the gov site (most recent stats are 2013):

In 2013 there were 875 male Quinns born in the US (ranked 356)

In 2013 there were 2,634 female Quinns born in the US (ranked 118)

I like it, I'd say boy but that's only because I think of detective Quinn from Dexter!
I don't mind it for a girl but it's not a very feminine feeling word, then again I like Elliot for a girl!

I like it. I think it's for either.

I'm in the UK x

Thanks all :) my DD is Evelyn - very traditional and quite girly so if I have a boy I'd quote like a boys name - one of the reasons I wouldn't choose Jesse as I love it for a boy but too many girls in UK named Jessica and shortened to Jessie :-/

I like Quinn for a boy, but one of my favorite shows when I was a teenager, Daria, had a girl named Quinn in it who was a cheerleader and super popular, lol!
