Hey girls,

I have decided to do the race for life this year, and i got a couple of mates to come and do it with me as well!!!

Im really looking forward to it, i've gonna start my training and diet next week, well already on me new yr diet, as i still ned to lose about half stone to get back down to me 10/12 frame, its always the last bit ya struggle with, as 6 weeks after having hollie was back in me normal jeans and i wasnt even on a diet then!!!

But anyway, has anyone else done this, my mate has done it a couple of years ago, and did say it was hard, but we didnt realise til we registered for the race that, its the day after her birthday, so think were gonna all be slightly hanging!!!

But it gives me something to focus on and get other things out of my mind!!!xxx

Good on ya chick! My cousin has done it twice... so it can't be THAT bad ;) Will be fun doing it the day after a night out lol. Donated to you too
xx

Thanks so much for sposoring me Zoe!!!
Thanks, i wanna do it as it seems everyone knows someone who has had cancer and my aunt had breast cancer and had to have them removed and my mum has to be checked every 6 months cos, she's a twin to me aunt xxx

Aww wow twins!! Yeah I think everyone knows someone thats had/has cancer. My grandad passed away a couple years ago from it, it's a terrible disease :( What kinda training you gonna be doing? xx

Well i've been speaking to couple of mates who started off with race for life and gone to do marathons which i'd love to do!!!
They said to take it easy, just pick up walking speed for a few days, then to a sligh jog and just bring it up more!!!
Yeah twins, i was crapping it when i was having my 1st scan in a prey that i wasnt having twins lol xxx

Ive done it twice!

The first one was hard, i ran most of it and it was on a uni campus up and down hills, the second one was in london just last yr, and we fast walked it and it was great! there was ladies with buggies n everything and i was about 6 months pregnant. I would do it again if i know theres not too many hills and id take the pram or wear a carrier with stinky pants here.

infact gonna look up the locations right now!

I'll sponsor u when i have some cash!

good luck! Its not really hard. The 5k ones will take you about an hour to walk at a gentle pace :)

Good luck hun. My 12 yr old has done it twice with my mum, i cant run up the stairs let alone that far xx

Thank you, im looking forward to it and im gonna start my training next week!!!xxx
