Hi ladies.

I am completely lost, anyone care to guess or tell me where the placenta is? This was taken at 7wks and 5 days and was an external scan. All comments welcome.

I think the placenta is the bright area, so on the left of the picture? Which should be your right side, so I'm going to guess boy!

Thank you. I just cant get my head around what the placenta is meant to look like. Got another scan soon so might see what people think based on nub theory

I know it was very confusing to me too, I think it looks a bit fern like and usually is the bright part on the ultrasound. Someone could easily guess wrong if they think the placenta is somewhere it's not.
