Hi!! Can anyone tell me where the placentas are in both the images below? I have NO idea! **these were both done transvaginally and are two separate pregnancies (one past, one current!) Both we're done around 7 weeks 5 days** I'm trying to look into the Ramzi theory, but so many variables and factors it seems. What does the gender on the left look like?

First one is hard to tell. The second it is that great, bulbous c shape wrapped around the sac on the right hand side. Mine was the same way at 9w, couldn't even see it at 7. She said it was still forming which is why it looked like it wrapped all the way around from certain angles. If I had to guess on the first one it looks like it is on the top maybe idk

First image the placenta is on top and down the right hand side. Second image it is wrapping around the right hand side. As they were done trans-v the image is not flipped therefore according to the theory they are both boys.

Theories are not 100% though.

Thank you! And did yours end up being a boy or girl? I'm trying to figure out this Ramzi theory, but so many opinions on it being reversed, etc etc.

Thanks! I'm reading so much these can be flipped/mirror images? Also, these were two different ultrasound machines... I wonder if some can be flipped and some not?

From what I've heard the transab scans can definitely be flipped without you knowing which is why it's better to ask at the time of scan which side the placenta is on but I'm pretty sure (someone correct me if I'm wrong) transvaginal scans the image doesn't flip...

Heard the same that usually transvag is not flipped but you're still supposed to ask just in case.

Got it. So do you know if just this theory has to do with JUST where the placenta is, or what side the baby is on?

I believe it's only the placenta, not where the baby is :)

Just came across this and wanted to add in my two cents since I've been studying Ramzi like crazy lol. According to my previous pregnancy, I had a transvaginal done at 7 weeks. I sent my picture to the Gender Experts to see what they said and they guessed girl. She did indeed end up being a girl because the placenta was on the right side of the image which would be the left side of my uterus. I have attached the picture that was sent to them. The placenta on my transvaginal ultrasound was still mirrored just like with the abdominal that I had with my DS (second picture attached) where you can clearly see the thick grayish-white area of the placenta is on the upper left side of the sac which would be the right side of my uterus. Really I don't think it matters much if it was transvaginal or abdominal. You can ask your tech which side of your uterus the baby is on but every time I asked that they looked at me funny lol.
