My Mum's Siamese cat has brought a moorhen chick into her house. It's enjoying itself at the moment, helping itself to some Sunday dinner.. :dohh: But what should she do about it? Is there anyone you're supposed to ring? Or just take it somewhere and release it?

Did it not try to eat it lol?
Maybe a locl bird sanctury/farm/rspca? Worth a ring and see what they say x

call the RSPB. they may be able to care for it.

Google 'wildlife rescues postcode' or ring the RSPCA and they can tell you where to take it. Alternately, vets will take and treat wild life for free and more than likely have access to a rehabilitation place for it.

Awwww this is such a cute thread, look at the cute little chick.

Apparently my Mum came out with a few choice words when she opened the front door to one of those.. haha.

The cat doesn't really eat anything, he's a right character. He just likes having them all as friends I think.

After all this, my Dad mentioned that he might have seen it being brought in THE NIGHT BEFORE so it's been living there overnight somewhere :haha:

Thanks everyone, will pass on info to my Mum if she hasn't found anywhere yet. xx

Aww the chick is so cute, id want to keep it but i think id ring rspca
