Rats?

Anyone own rats?

I have two, Penny and Zoe. I love them so much, they are kind of like dogs, They give me "kisses" and they LOVE peanut butter. They also come when called!

Zoe's my She sits on my shoulder and when I watch tv she sleeps on my neck.

Rats are great pets, there clean and quiet, and really sweet!

Aww so beautiful! We had 2 rats, one was a dumbo rat, other was a fancy rat. Sadly we had to rehome them due to our new landlord not allowing pets, its a long story. We had them just over a year and Dumbo was so tame, Fancy was bigger and abit more jumpy but lovely all the same.

Aww sorry! I'd be very upset if I had to give them up!

Zoe is tame and Penny is very jumpy, I love them both but its harder to handle Penny.

Oh wow...i didnt know ppl kept rats as pets...but I live in NY so when i think of rats I think of the ones in the subway stations...they are disgusting and huge...look nothing like the one in your pic...lol

I used to own 5 of them. 4 females and 1 male. I didn't breed though. They are such great pets. So much fun, and very smart.

Awwww I had a pet rat when I first met my husband and my child is going to get a rat as his/her first pet. I love them!

I keep and breed - I have a litter at the moment (well a litter of 12 and one of 2 so really I think of it as one) I am about to make a separate thread.

I have rats too - 6 boys (5 dumbos, 1 top-earred). I have a very faded roan rat, two siamese rats, two blue rats (one of them is rexy) and one cheeky little agouti called Alan!
