reaction to steroid injections

Hi all, at 34 weeks I was given the steroid injections however during the 2 days that i had them, my pulse shot to 120 minimum and even up to 175 which scared a lot of doctors. It is likely that I will have to be induced before 37 weeks with my next pregnancy because I have severe cholestasis. Has anyone given birth around the 35 week mark without steroids? How was your baby? Or is there an alternative injection maybe?
I'm really scared of having to do that again

I had my lo at 32 weeks with no steroids - no time as they did not listen when they said I was ot in labour :-/

He was in nicu for a few weeks (would of been even with the steroids) but was fine & only a little oxygen in his incubator for 24hrs.
