Right need some advice girls me and my oh are really wanting to get a real tree this year to go along with our artificial one, now the only one we have seen cheap has no pot where can I get a pot for it to go in and do i use compost or what?? I will be making it look as nice as possible lol thanks girls x plus this is going to sound so thick but are real trees safe in 1st tri  Never had a real tree so am really excited x

If it's a cut tree (ie without a pot, just a trunk) you need a stand. You'll get one from B&Q or Homebase

I wanted a real tree but some of the answers I got from the girls put me off  Never liked paying out for trees tbh and always wanted a prelit and one that was nicely shaped not floppy awkward and some what look oddly shaped so I spent out this year in hope I'd be pleased with 20% off on M&S for a prelit and its FANTASTIC ...Pointless answer to the real tree confussion though

I wanted a real tree...then I saw them. And I realised that as they grow naturally, they are not normally even and I am the type of person who would be snipping at the branches until it looked 'even' Like someone else said, they normally come either in the pot or cut, and then you will need a stand :)
