I'm not such a small girl. 40 F and the only place i seem to be able to get bras is motherhood maternity and mm bras seem to fall apart really fast, i'm kinda in between a rock and a hard place help

That's really strange that your motherhood bras are falling apart! I've had mine for over a year (bought them while pregnant) and all of them have held up really well. I have about 5 regular bras and 4-5 cotton bras from them.

I know there are fancier nursing bras out there, so I assume the quality should be better but don't quote me on that. I'm not sure where you're from but amazon has a really good selection of nursing bras as well. I sometimes use regular bras as nursing bras, you just have to shop around and find ones that you can easily pull your boob out of iykwim. :haha:

Bra? What's that lol I havent seen one of those in months!

I discovered the elomi wired nursing bra after really struggling with bras last time. Like you im larger chested and non wired bras were uncomfy and fell to bits due to the weight! The elmoi is amazing, very robust (think rucksack clips lol) and changed bfing for me totally! Used them from day 1 this time and finding them wonderful again!

I am a 44DDD right now and am pre-emptively shopping for nursing bras in that size or larger and am so unhappy with the selection.
I did, however, find MANY very easy looking tutorials on how to convert a normal bra into a nursing bra and will probably end up doing that. Just google it; I can't sew at all and I am sure I can do it!

Converting bras is really easy! I did it with a couple of really cheap bras just to see If it worked. The conversion worked well but the bras were so cheap and nasty I never used them! If you can't get hold of the nursing style clips (I couldn't find them) use bikini clips. A bit more tricky to get open as you have to use 2 hands but still easy access!

I second elomi bras- i have non wired ones, but they're rubbish really, and sizing is just weird!

Oh and i am large busted too. And elomi is a bit pricey, but worth giving it a shot.

I am a 36G atm & got some great bras off Bravissimo that are worn every day & are going well. They have larger sizes too. Debenhams actually have some ok one's too, nothing fancy though.

i hate nursing bra shopping. I am a 28 h so they either dont go up to a H or dont make the 28! arrrgggh, i end up trashing normal bras and prob my boobs by pulling the normal one down and 'flopping' my boob out:haha:

I'm a 36G, and just ordered the nursing bra clips online and converted my regular bras myself. Just takes a few stitches of hand sewing!!
