I just sat down to have some breakfast and got a debilitating stabbing pain in my stomach. It's eased off a bit now but keeps coming back from time to time and it's worrying me :( I'm not one of those that worries at any slight twinge but this really hurts. It feels like things are shifting about in there too. It feels like someone's grabbing my insides and wringing them! I know it's not wind cos I know what that feels like and it's nothing like this! :( anyone had this before??

Hi Hun, I've been getting this all day today! Apparently it is just the uterus stretching. I'm not going to worry unless it stays for a few days and/or I get bleeding.

Good luck! I. Sure it's fine xx

OK thanks, I'll try not to worry! :)

Ive been getting this today and a dull pain and im 11+5.
Isnt it weird were all 11wk and getting the same pain x

Oh really? Yeah that is weird! I'm wondering if it's something to do with how the baby supposedly moves from low down behind the pelvic bone to a more central position around now?? What do you guys think?

Haha. I had something similar a few days ago and called my ob. She told me it sounds like "rapid uterine expansion". I guess maybe baby is having a growth spurt? That's how I took it! Must be common in the 11th week!

Omg I just had this today but it was high on my stomach like no where near my uterus by my belly button, it only last about 5ish minutes maybe a little more but now it hasn't happened since.

I did notice when doing the Doppler last night that I had to go alittle higher to find the hb this time.

How odd!! I guess it's just what happens around 11weeks 5 days! Lol
Mine has settled now thank goodness

Hope you ladies are ok now too xx

The uterus pops out of the pelvis around the 12 week mark so it could be that!

I know, I did think that myself! But then thought that'd be pretty crazy...It probably is just rapid uterine growth due to baby's growth spurt.

I agree with this^^ And maybe that is the result of rapid uterine expansion! All I know is I hadn't been able to find baby with the Doppler since my pains, and I finally found it last night! An inch and a half higher than it used to be! My uterus has left the building! Hehe. Or rather my pelvis :D
