It is still early so we still do not know the gender. I have a really long list of names for both genders and need help mixing and matching and pairing names or getting rid of some names.

As you read the list or just skim over it ..... what names stick out to you? in a good or bad way? why? Which are your favorite names/pairings? Any other comments or concerns with names?

It seems that I like different spellings of the names you have. Ainsley, Bailey, Hadley, Kennedy, Kolby, Makenzie, Kailey, Marley...

Names I dislike (and why):
Amzie (just doesn't sound like a name to me?)
Branden (I'm all for masculine names for girls but this just seems odd to me)
Blakelynn (I like Blake and Lynn, just not together)
Darcy (not my style)
Haisley (I prefer Paisley)
Hurlie (hurl=vomit)
Sutton (not my style)

Zailey, Kambriee, Kealie (sp?), Spencer and Logan are my faves.

Kambriee Logan
Zailey Spencer

Middles, I like most. Again, I'd prefer alternative spellings but love Adalyn,
Easton, Jaysie, Lennox, Blake, Jaide

Kambriee Blake
Kambriee Jaide
Kealie Adalyn
Spencer Easton
Logan Jaysie
Zailey Blake

Boys I LOVE Jakeb, Tyler, Bentley, Axel, Austin, Rylen! Some sound very made up and unusual and I'm not a fan of feminine names on boys, such as
Ashlyn, Addison, Avery, Tegan.

Tyler Austin
Bentley Jakeb
Rylen Axel
Axel Rylen

Names I dislike (and why):
Brecklyn (very made up, doesn't sound like a name to me)
Faegan (unsure how to pronounce)
Granger (rhymes with danger??)
Huntley ("hunt Lee??")
Zolten (sounds like a prescription name)
Zyler (doesn't sound like a name to me)

middles, I like Micah, Jace, Donovan, Ledger, Maverick, Lawrence, Jonathan

Axel Donovan
Tyler Jace
Bentley Lawrence
Austin Ledger

Hope that helps!! Good luck!

I like half your names, and half I don't like at all. As PP stated some seem way too "made up" and some of the spellings look really bizarre to me. I will list the names I do really like, with the spellings I prefer.

Baylee/Bayleigh
Kennedy/Kenadee
Eliana
Scarlett
Salem (I like this, but maybe better suited to a pet)
Harlow
Kaylee
Arabella
Ellyson/Ellison/Ellisyn
Isabella
Kaycee

I love the middle name Jaide/Jade (but not with a name that starts with a B and not with Scarlett bc they are both color names... but all the other names I picked sound great with Jade!)

Sebastian
Tyler
Rylan
Dakota
Riley
Maverick (I like this, but maybe better suited to a pet)
Austin
Camden
Kyler
Keegan
Dylan
Quinn
Sam
Declan
Jamie

I really don't like feminine names for boys: Ashlyn, Addison, Aubrey, Avery, Shelby, Eden, etc.

The girl's name Kambriee could probably grow on me - it's quite cute!
(Kambriee Isabella, maybe?)

Ill be honest the only names i like are bayliegh and logan i dont like any others, im all for unique names but i dont like none of them except the 2 i said sorry x

I don't like a majority of the names. The girl names sound made up.
Amzie? I can't even imagine that on a pet, no offense
I also like some unisex names for boys but some of yours seem way to feminine. Not a huge fan of super masculine on girls, especially not Brandon, that's completely male

I like:
Avalon
Lux (as a middle name)
Scarlett
Stella
Blair
Jade
Lydia

Dillon
Grant
Griffin
Graham
Logan
Vincent
Tyler
Lawrence
Lachlan

Eden (for a girl)

Avalon Lux
Eden Jade

These are my only combos

I only like Darcy and Temperance for first girls names. Graham and Jesse for boys.

For girls I really only like Scarlett and Hadley (spelled this way) for your first names. Ellianna actually sounds really pretty and I like both Ellie and Anna as nickname options but the spelling bugs me for some reason (and I can't think of a better spelling). For your middle names I like Imogen, Stella and Jayne. I really dislike Ellery because it sounds like Celery.

For boys I like Avery, Griffin, Quinn and Sebastian. And I know you said they are for middle names only but I love Luca and Lachlan, those are probably my favourites out of all of them. Atlas is a bit "out there" for me but I actually kind of like it. I really dislike Faegan because that poor kid would get teased mercilessly.

I like Scarlett & Laurel. I agree that many of the others sound made up. Jayne goes nicely with both of those names, and is also my middle name.

Also avoid using Isis, as it's the name of a terrorist group :flower:

I like Keegan from your boy list!

I agree with the other ladies that a lot of the names are too unique/made up sounding for me. Some of them I'm not sure how to pronounce.

However, there are several on your list I think are really nice.

Girls:
Ainslie
Darcy
Kennedi (though I would encourage the more traditional spelling of Kennedy...makes life easier for her when she gets older...I have a non traditional spelling of a common name and it can really be a pain sometimes)
Kolbie
Scarlett
Jayne

Boys:
Daniel
Grant
Graham
Jake
Keegan
Nathaniel
Samuel
Sebastian
Issac
Jonathan

I saw Quinn on your boys list-- I dislike this for a boy but think it could be cute and unique for a girl. I also like Eden on your boys list for a girl.

Names I really dislike:
Hurlie -- please don't name a child this...I think they would be teased relentlessly in school
Isis- like someone mentioned above...this is the name of a terrorist group. Maybe as an alternative consider Iris, which I think is really pretty
Ledger - I used to be an accountant so to me this isn't a name but a way to make entries to different accounts and used to help prepare financial statements.

In general I would stay away from names that someone would not know how to pronounce/sound made up- Amzie, Kallison, Sutton, Eibhleann, Imogene, Faegan, Kadel, Lathen, Taeton,Lochlan

I think you have a good start and it will help once you know the gender. I know picking name can be so daunting. I would encourage you to talk to your OH to get their thoughts. I would also suggest picking a style that you like and picking within that. Ie- traditional v exotic etc. Here is a link that may help : https://babynames.allparenting.com/babynames/Ideas/What_is_your_baby_naming_style?/

Good luck!
