Our mmc in April happened at 12 weeks but baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Having a natural miscarriage at home was the most awful & painful thing I have ever been through :(

I'm going to be 8 weeks on Tuesday & I'm terrified, I have been very positive & excited so far but I really need my scan it can't come quick enough

I had a mmc found at 12 weeks but baby stopped growing at 8+6. It was really hard getting past that point in my last pregnancy but it would be so unlikely for the same thing to happen twice in a row! I'm now nearly 12 weeks and feeling movement and feeling a lot better. Although I've got to make it to 21 weeks to get past my last loss :dohh: good luck with everything. When's your scan?

I'm so sorry for your loss at 21 weeks I can't imagine how you feel. Its amazing you can feel movement already that must be lovely.

I haven't got a date for scan yet xx

Munchkin is SO right. The chance of a MMC happening twice in a row is SOOO rare. I've read a lot about it and it seems to just be random who it happens to and when it happens.

I had a MMC where the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks and it was detected at 10 weeks. I was gutted beyond belief. Like you, I was terrified this pregnancy - and I was in floods of tears before my 12-week scan because it brought back all the horrible memories of the MMC. But all was fine.

"Try to take one day at a time" - haha as if - easier said than done. i used a countdown to the scan and made sure I did lots of fun stuff to pass the time. That's all I can suggest.

Thank you London your right I think I'm going to be a wreck before my scan as well. I am trying to concentrate on other things & I'm hating/enjoying my nausea as I hope its a good sign baby is doing well.

Not long til your baby is here very exciting! I wish you all the best x
