I know a lot of u ladies av been aving sore hips but omg i thought i was one of the lucky ones not to av it but........Last night it started. I had really bad hip pain it hurt to walk. I still have it today. I feel like ive been on th emove for days with out stop. I am just gonna try rest for a few days to see if it goes away. No chance of me going out not in this pain :(

I feel your pain :hugs:
It look til 35 weeks for me to get severe pain. I thought I had got away with it til then....
Just get as much rest as possible Hun (easier said than done) and it hope it feels better soon :flower:

My SPD/Pelvic Girdle Pain came on a few weeks ago and now it is excruciating. Take it easy. The Physio told me not to stand or walk unless I had to. I would suggest you mention it to your midwife.

i've started getting it, it's loads better if i use a big pillow between my legs at night - i forgot last night and they are sore again today :(

It doesnt seem as bad today but i can still feel it. If i still av pain in a day or to im gonna ring MW

Rest is the best thing for it I've found. I have SPD which started at about 26 weeks. Now I can't do any more than go round the supermarket without paying for it the next day. The less I do the less pain I feel. It's the only way I've found to manage it.

I used to get really bad hip pain at night (it kept me awake all night long), and it was from sleeping on my sides exclusively. I got foam pads to put ontop of my mattress and they haven't bothered me since.

I was also told that you can get a hip tensor bandage that is made for pregnant women to help make you feel "put back together" in that area - it will give your hips the support they need. Ask your pharmacist about it.

Hope you can find something that will help you get rid of your pain!

I had this last week in my right hip, had to rest and its ok this week so far.

I get hip and pelvic pain pretty bad whenever I sleep on my sides. I've taken to sleeping sitting up against a couch pillow on my bed most of the time.

So glad I'm not alone! I've been having this for 2 weeks now and like some of you ladies have said, rest is the only thing that helps. I hope it wont interrupt with labour too much.

I have severe scoliosis so my hips started hurting severely within abut 12wks.

Summer as gone with her auntie for a few hours so gonna av a long hot bath to see if it helps then get in pjs lol

I've had bad hips for a few months - especially in bed at night. Physic says it's to do with having a memory foam mattress, and because the weight distribution is different now I'm a new shape!

Best thing for me has been having loads of pillows. I put 4 at the top to keep my head and shoulders up (helps with heartburn), then lay 3 down in a row down to my hips and put an extra one on top under my waist and bump.

It's taken a while to perfect, but now I only get up to pee in the night - much less pain! I reckon I should patent this design...

Good luck! :)
