Since yesterday I have had a real sore right nipple, my whole breast was tender but since LO emptied it this morning the tenderness and pain in the upper part of the breast has lessened.
I have been using nipple cream post each feed.
Its so sore now I can't bear for LO to feed from it as its too painful, especially when he bites down on it.
Does this sound like mastitis, thrush (no other symptoms), an milk duct infection or just regular soreness.
How can I relieve the pain - I have used cream, walm compress on the breast. I have an appt with the GP tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had suffered something similar.
