:cry:i rele want to leve my los dad coz we arnt his first priority everything and everyone come before us, but im scared i wont be able to do it on my own,i wont be able to give himm all that he wants, i dont work n iv got no family support....what shall i do???

It would be difficult without family support. Do you have a Sure Start Children's Centre nearby? There would be a professional there who could give you (free) advice and you would probably find the other parents/carers who attend really helpful and supportive. My LO is just over 3months old and I've been a single mum since she was about 3 weeks old. I do have supportive friends and family but have still found the Children's Centre a real help. I really love having my girl to myself, it's just a big step. If you can try and build up a support network before you make any big decisions it will make things easier - you might even find that they can give you advice on how to get your partner to be more involved instead of having to leave.

Whatever you decide, Good luck x

i know how you feel, ive just became a single mummy with my 3 girls and 1 on the way for the same reason as you, everyone came before us and i got sick of it put up with it for 2 years and just had enough....its not an easy desicion to make and im sorry your going through this, wish i had more constructive advice to give you but i only left my OH about an hour ago and my heads all over the place just now....sorry xx

Chick You Can Do It Alone. If He Doesnt Put You First. Your Already Doing it Alone. Like You I Have NO family Support. And I Admit Its Hard, But As Long As You Have Some One. I.e a Friend Or Some One To Talk To You Your'll Be Okaii, Maybe Talk To Your Health Visitor and Ask For Extra Support, Theres Nothing Wrong With Asking For Support. :D Good Luck Hun

If you're unhappy then leave him. Sometimes, I feel it is a lot nicer being a single mum then having to deal with the everyday hassles of a partner. But it can also have its drawbacks. Contact your local council about a women's refuge you can go to until you can find something more permanent.

Best!
