Reassurance for those who ask this..

I have seen a lot of people on here asking how long it takes to get pregnant after a loss.

Well....I just want to share this with some I those that it might just being some hope to.

I miscarried a pregnancy in Sept (chemical I was only about 4 weeks).. then on December 1st I lost another at around 5 weeks. My HCG levels dropped from 150 to 20 in 24 hours and then bled for a week.

New year's eve I did a test and it was positive. No AF in between. I didn't even know I had ovulated. (I can normally tell as during ovulation day my hair and skin change and I feel sluggish and cramps)..

So the doctors didn't know if in bad retained some tissue after the miscarriage on dec 1st and this may have been the cause of the positive test.

I was sent for an ultrasound yesterday (external)... and they found a little bean with a heartbeat dated at 6 weeks. I must of hot pregnant straight away.

So my message i want to send out is keep positive and don't give up after a loss as it can happen straight away xxx

Congratulations!
I’m in the same situation right now and petrified, I’m awaiting a call from the midwife. Do you think they’ll also send me for a scan? I had a scan after my MC last month to confirm I’d passed everything and I had and have also had negative tests afterwards so I know this is a new pregnancy.. I’m still really hoping they’ll send me for a scan even to just date me/reassure me.
