I was just wondering how many of you have been offered reassurance scans by your GP?
After my second loss, in december (first one in november so two consecutively), i went to talk to my GP and she took some blood tests etc which all came back fine. Now, i am pregnant again, and although i feel very positive i am obviously worried and was wondering whether there is any chance she would refer me to the EPU for a scan at 6-7 weeks just to make sure the bean is doing ok? after the second loss i did get referred to the EPU by the duty doctor in A&E but i didnt go for the scan, simply because i knew there was no point (i was only 4w5d so it was just like getting my period).
I dont really want to ask, but at the same time it would be so reassuring to be able to see that little heart beating away. My appointment with my GP is not until next friday, so *thinks* 9 days time? yes, 9 days.
