recalled to doctor for results of hormone tests - what does this mean?

Hi, I'm pretty worried after receiving a letter from my gp today. I had blood tests for hormone levels a week last Friday and was told to ring for results in 3 weeks, but I would get a letter if there were any concerns. Received a letter today asking me to make a routine appointment which they can't make till 2 weeks time. Explained to the receptionist that it was for results of a blood test and asked if there was anything they could tell me over the phone. She said I was best talking to the doctor. Now I hope I'm not being paranoid but surely this doesn't bode well? I don't imagine they'd call me in just to say everything's fine?

There must be some abnormal lab. Maybe they can fax or mail you the labs if you sign a consent to release the information.
