Recommend me your diet, I'm a newbie!

So I want to start a diet in order to lose some weight, steadily and gradually until I feel more comfortable with myself. I'm also going to start back at the gym/swimming to help this along.

However, there are so many diets out there and since I have never tried one before I am at a loss. So please, recommend me a good diet, easy to stick to and one that doesn't leave me feeling like a burst, empty balloon :)

personally don't need no diets.

you just need to change your bad habits for better ones.
cut out fizzy drinks replace with 12 glasses of water.
cut out(reduce) takeaway/fast food.
cut down on soduim
don't eat processed carbs. Whole grain only.
exercise min 4 times a week for 30mins.

ive done slimfast & say avoid.
 
I say calorie counting, easy, not expensive, maintainable, healthy :thumbup:
and plenty of walking :D

Slimming world is good, I lost 2 stone on that.. Then i stopped and put it all on, my own fault as i ate like a pig and stopped excerising!! ..

Im on Weight watchers now, see how it goes!
