If you're here in this LTTC forum it's because you have likely found out just how much ttc can suck the life right out of you. This process is not for the faint of heart. We all have courage, determination, and conviction. However, it's nearly impossible to go at it alone (uh, hello, were on BnB day and night). I think this might be sounding kind of sales pitchy, but I swear it's not supposed to :haha: Anyway, I wanted to share with you a new book out. It's called "The Fast Track to Fertility". Written by two Cincinnati infertility specialists (Dr. Awadalla and Dr. Scheiber) it is such a well written book that not only helps you understand infertility and many of the treatment options, but it discusses the toll that this process can take on your emotional well being. I found it REALLY helpful, and would recommend anyone take a look at it.

You can get it on Amazon if you're interested. And yes, they are my IVF doctors and I love them!:haha:

I barely have time to read a book. Can you give us some pointers? Is it related to overall health?

It focuses more on providing a better understanding of what's happening (or going to happen) so to speak.... Here are the chapters it covers...

-The big picture
-Normal human reproduction and maximizing natural conception
-Common causes of infertility
-Finding the cause of infertility
-Treatment options
-Ovulation drugs and insemination therapy
-Surgical techniques to treat infertility
-IVF
-Post-sterilization techniques
-The male factor
-Endometriosis
-Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
-Miscarriage and recurrent pregnancy loss
-Third party reproduction:
using donor eggs, donor sperm, and surrogacy
-Sex selection/Family balancing
-The fertility lifestyle
-Emotional balance
-Dealing with medical insurance
