Recommendations for a "doll carrier" for my daughter?

I wear ds in a moby and mei tai and dd started asking to carry her dolls too, "like mommy". :) My "fix" was to just have a toddler backpack/schoolbag turned backwards, unzipped with a doll inside, which she actually loves to wear but I am sure there are better choices. Any recommendations?

My DD has something similar to this, it was from a secondhand sale so i'm not sure where it was from originally.

Alternatively, I just looked on Etsy (searched for doll carrier) and there are tons on there. Or if you wanted to try and make your own I found this free tutorial: https://www.sewbossi.com/2012/10/baby-doll-carrier-tutorial.html

Elc do them, I cant link because im on my phone but if you type in cup cake sling its there.

Eta just had a look and they are only £6.40 at the moment.

You can get moby doll wraps for kids.

Maybe worth just using a scarf and wrapping it in the same way as a moby though!

DS just has a silky scarf that I wrap his dolls with and a Little Life bag which tore at the side and I cut the other side so it has leg holes, he can wear his doll front or back in that.

Nice links. I'm going to make a mini version of our mei tai at some point. I'm planning for a second around this time next year (we'll see if my body cooperates with that plan!) and I'd like to make a carrier and a doll for Violet. Maybe I'll just buy the doll, though or she can use her stuffed animals.
