Recommoend a meal!

Hiya Girlies,

I've got some freinds coming for tea tomorrow night and I'm kinda stuck for inpsiration of what to cook. We've had a bit of a curry bonanza over the weekend so I'm not wanting curry again. I'd like something special so nothing boring - anything a bit flash is good!
Only requirements are that it is meat based.

Nigella Lawson's Ham cooked in Cherry Coke? It's yummy Not particuarly flashy though.

You could do rib of beef with a bearnaise sauce, green vegetables and roast potatoes followed by a pear tarte tatin with cinnamon icecream? I did this recently and my guests were very impressed... I started with french onion soup too. I was in tears chopping the onions but it was worth it!!!

Hmm... will pop back if I think of any other ideas. I love entertaining but suddenly my mind is a complete blank LOL!
