So Micah will be 16 months once LO arrives. I think he'll still be in his crib by then. I had such a hard time with recovery last time. I can't imagine how to care for LO and Micah during that time? I won't be able to lift him. And my husband already won't be able to get time off, considering he is in a commission based job. No work = no money = lose home. :nope: Is there any advice you can give to make it easier when the time comes? Or am I doomed?

I don't have any advice but just wanted to let you know you're not alone my Lo will be 16 months when I go in for my section. He's very very boisterous jumps all over me, runs round like usain bolt all day and is becoming very clingy and wanting picking up. In more nervous about how I'll manage then having the section!

I don't have much advice as such but I wanted to say it might not be as bad as you think. Ds1 was 18 months when I had ds2 by emcs. My recovery from ds1's emcs was hard - including my scar splitting open. But with ds2 I just found that I did what I had to do. Dh went back to work after about a week at home and I just had to lift ds1 into his cot and high chair etc. I did as much as I could at floor level (like changing nappies) and when I did need to lift ds1 I just made sure it did it very carefully.
