Red cabbage gender predictor (old wives tale)

I'm curious ! I want to know what you momma's or mommas to be think of this red cabbage test ? 😊
They say if your result is red/pink it means it's a BOY & if its a blue/purple then its a GIRL !

On the right is my sister in laws result (she's 6 months along with a girl)
On the left is my result to me it's red tones but I wanted your opinion!


Let me know what you guys think & if you have tried this test before

Have never tried this before but compared to your sisters result I would say yours looks like a boy

I tried it tonight and if it is correct we will have another boy. I have been thinking boy the whole time but my hsband is dead set it's a girl.

That looks more like a girl result to me? Anyways do you buy the red cabbage juice someway or??

Just go to the produce section and buy a head of red cabbage. Then cut some of it into big chunks and boil for 10 mins. Take some of the water out let cool and mix equal parts of cabbage water with pee.

I have an early 3D gender scan on April 11th and I will be 15 weeks 4 days then. I did some research on thos test and there are many things that can change the results. One example is if you have been drinking or eating fruits or anything with citrus in it bc it increases the acid in your urine to sway it. So we are going to try it again with fmu to see if that is true will post an update tomorrow.

Yay! Okay I'm gonna do mine again soon also !! I wanna save the cabbage juice and keep it in the refrigerator so I can randomly test it throughout the months lol I'm curious to see what happens !

I was 5 weeks when I did that one & I'm 7 weeks now going to try again soon & post it on this thread ! I've heard the same ! 😊

I did one today but I had about 5 bottles of water & my urine looked exactly like water lol so I don't know if that had an effect on it bcus it didn't change color at all - I'm going to try it again with FMU tomorrow morning

The one on the left is definitely purple so girl but the one on the right is more pinkish red so boy that's odd...
