Red thread like spotting??!

Question ladies!

Last night when I wiped I had orangey pink watery cm after a bm. I was so worried so I put the toilet paper a around my finger and put it about a half an inch or so in my vagina. When it came out it had a red like thread on it. It wasn't like a drop of blood. I did it again and just the pinky orange.since then, just normal cm. anyone had this or know what it could be?

The thread was only like a cm long.

My immediate guess would be that straining or pressure during your BM caused the cervix to be irritated and shed the tiniest amount of blood. Especially since your CM has been clear since then. If you Google it, it seems to be a fairly common issue, so try not to worry!

Thank you! I hope that is it! We have our ultra sound on Friday, and I wasn't worrying too much but now I am terrified. I had a bit of brown spotting with my daughter but no red, orange, or pink!
