Reducing FSH?

I am asking this question on behalf of a friend. She has been to see her FS and been told that her FSH levels are too high for her to be eligable for ivf on the nhs (they were at 18).

I wondered if anyone knew how to reduce this number with maybe supplements? Anyone out there had any success?

As you can imagine she is pretty distraight at the moment so I'm hoping that some of you lovely ladies may have had this experience and some success.
