What food did not agree with your reflux baby? My LO seems ok with sweet potato, baby rice and rice pudding so far but tried him with apple & banana and he was unsettled most of the night which I can only put down to the fruit?think I'll leave that for a bit and give more veg x

I would be careful of tomatoes. Try and de-seed if you do give them xx

I'd be careful of anything citrus or acidic, like tomatoes, especially before 6 months. Apples and bananas can be binding which might have contributed to your LO being uncomfortable during the night, unless it was clearly his reflux!

too much banana definitely makes it harder for my DD to go to the loo - and she can get uncomfortable. She loves nana, so we have to limit it!

also, strawberries used to make her a bit sicky - but she's fine with them now

Ronan loves tomatoes and strawberries right now. Fortunately for me, tomatoes have been on sale, unfortunately strawberries haven't! Oh, and on topic, Ronan has reflux too and seems to be fine with both, although before 6 months he wasn't real keen on either and ignored or threw them away. It's only been in the last 2 weeks he's changed his tune. If it's true what they say with BLW that they instinctively avoid foods that don't agree with them, then maybe that's why!

^^ that's so funny, because in the last few weeks Elizabeth has really got into tomato and strawberry. Does make you wonder, doesn't it?

I know! I wish he'd been into strawberries in the middle of summer when they were in season & dirt cheap! He's too young to be developing expensive tastes yet.

Samuel has reflux as so far nothing seems to make it worse! I have noticed that we need to avoid banana and apple otherwise he gets grumpy around poo time!!
