I am so relieved and happy right now!

I have some car stress. Needed to get rid of a two seater convertible on finance, and it broke down on me!

My dad said he'll try and fix it and in the mean time he's had to take me to work and pick me up. I don't live with my parents anymore.

Thankfully my mom found a Renault Clio with five doors, very low mileage at a decent price. She text me a photo and said she'd buy it and we can both use it. She won't need it on evenings, it'll mainly be when my dad has their car for work, so I'd go pick her up, she'd drop me off to work and pick me up at the end of the day. Once maybe twice a week if that.

Insuring it will be cheaper. So I will kinda save money. But the great thing is I have a car!

My mom picks it up tomorrow!

I never thought I'd find a car suitable for baby to be in, with five doors while I was still pregnant. So much relief right now. I'm so happy!

I'm totally not used to anything but a vauxhall but I definitely cannot complain!

My mom and dad are legends!!!!

Aw fab news :) great when things start coming together ay. We've been under a lot of stress too as got 2 month notice to leave our house as landlord needs it back. Finally found somewhere and move in 3 weeks! We're moving to a bigger house and trying to source what we need for as little as possible and trying to sort finances to move has been so tough but we're getting there. Along with husbands motorbike breaking ontop of all that (he uses it to get to work in centre of London) guess things have a way of working out.

Yes things like to work out very last minute! Glad you've found a house to move into! I luckily had my other half insisting we move at 9 weeks pregnancy just to stop the stress. Our contract is only six months to begin with (just before baby arrives) so I'm making sure the house is kept very nice, no problems, and then sign up straight away for long term! Fingers crossed there's no dramas or hiccups last minute!!

Aww yay! Doesn't it feel great when things begin to fall in place?

Aw fab, I'm happy for you!
I upgraded from a Nissan Micra to a Skoda Octavia and it's taken me ages to get used to the size difference!

That's the thing though, we're prefect tenants, rent always paid on time, house in better condition that it actually was when we moved in etc. just bad luck that due to her circumstances she needs the house. Also I have to think about changing car at some point, I have a mini, and with two children that's going to be a struggle lol. Almost forgot about that one haha. Gonna be a busy few months ahead.

That's great news, I've had two Renault clios and they are lovely little cars, I have a vauxhall corsa right now so I've gone the opposite way to you :haha:

We are actually in the process of looking for something a bit bigger, bigger boot etc as this is baby number 2 so we need a little more room, plus we are moving in 9 days time!

It's crazy how everything falls In to place at once huh? :)
