Oh you two, don't feel badly sweeties! I did, you are right, ask. And I am so pleased to hear that your babies are doing well. Honestly and truly.

I personally was taken aback briefly until I thought of my other children and their milestones. And if you see, Jayden was far more behind Amanda in baby milestones such as crawling, sitting up, and walking. I have to remember that even my own kids are not the same

I know that in due time all babies do what they are required to do, yet not all at the same time. And also whereas one baby is advanced in one way, another baby is in another way.

This a really good thread! Benn was really forward with everything but Ellie has been really slow shes so laid back and is just happy smiling lol. All my friends babies that are the same age are well ahead of Ellie. I try not to see it as a problem but it does make you feel abit worried. I just remember when i see other babies that Ellie is who she is and will do it when shes good and ready.

What a refreshing thread leeanne!

I too was questioning whether I was playing,interacting and encouraging Daisy as much as I should be
There are some mums on here just do that all day and I really don't!

There are times when I let her watch TV just to get some peace and I feel super guilty about it and womder if that's why she isn't as advanced as my 1st daughter was at that age.

I know it isn't, she gets loads of playtime and stimulation so I know i shouldn't worry, she is just different to my last!

My other daughter sat on her own at 4.5 months and was walking at 9.5 months.
Daisy is only just sitting confidently now!

Hannah's only been crawling a week or week and a half, and she went backwards for ages first!! My cousins baby is 10 days older and not even close to crawling but does like for them to "walk" her around the house....something Hannah hates with a passion. All babies are different and I think we put to much pressure on ourselves as mothers
