Remember the 80's and 90's

I love retro stuff! Makes me feel a little old now though thinking back...

but it dosnt seem that long ago to me, like yesterday! and ones that are teens now where only being born then. :( my life is flashing before my eyes here! where does the time go. You spend all school days trying to grow up fast and do adult things and the rest of your life trying to get back down again lol

awww the memories!

I love it! The 90's video made me LOL... me and my OH were like 'yep did that...had that...sung that'.

There are loads of things I remember when I was growing up

Slouch socks
Adidas poppers, or cheap rip offs from matalan or peacocks
Pumping the tongue on your Nike Air Max
Fat Willy's t shirts
White eyeliner
Shell suits (mine always seemed to be either bright pink or bright green... I assume this is because my mother didn't like me as a child  )
Illuminous (sp?) coloured fishtail skateboards
Waking up to the big breakfast with zig and zag :)
Andy Peters
Gordon the Gopher
Phillip Schofeild
Richard and Judy with the insane weatherman out on the floating miniature UK
Superted
Cabbage Patch Dolls
Mr Frosty (had one on my xmas list every year when I was little, but never got one Oh my God, same here lol, I feel your pain honey!! :( used to get stuff like perfume making kits instead...grrrr  )
Sticklebricks
Magna Doodle
Mr Pop
Pound Puppies
Polly Pocket

God... I could go on...and on.... and on...

It was Reebok Pump that you pumped the tongue up on ;)

I just remembered something!

Who remembers the 'Look In' magazine??

Well Mum got it for me one day, we'd been to the shops and Mum got me a cheese and onion pasty to bring home for lunch. (God I still remember this soooo vividly even though I was only about 8!)

I was looking through it and it had Bucks Fizz, My Camera Never lies lyrics in it......woohoooooo I was so happy that I went upstairs quickly to get changed into a wrap over skirt (like the ones the bucks fizz girls wore for making your mind up) so that I could come back down and sing and prance about because I had THE WORDS TO THE SONGGG :happydance::happydance:

Came downstairs and cried my eyes out.

I'd left my pasty on the lyrics page and the grease had smeared all over the words so I couldn't read them :dohh:.....oh my God I was heartbroken!:cry::rofl::rofl:
