.... attempt to make invites again of any kind be it wedding or other lol.

I finally got mine printed off at my mums and spent 4 hours cutting them out last night. Then spent today cutting out black squares to go behind them to put on the cards. Now waiting for my girls to go to bed so can stick them all down and pretty them up.

Never again my poor hand hurts from where the scissors have been lol. x

:hugs: I made all mine to save money and the first 10 or so I loved... then after days of sticking gems and cutting ribbon I was well and truely fed up!1 Will be buying christening invites for Noah :haha:

Its a pain isn't it. Only got round to making one before my youngest started playing up refusing to go to sleep and any patience I had went out the window lol.

Now gone for a style that won't even use the cards I bought and I jokingly said to df we could just save them for thank you cards after the wedding and stick a photo of us on the front and leave a handwritten message on the inside. Bugger that if I am going to do any sort of cutting out again. x

awww huge hugs hun, i'm the designer of invitations and my dad prints them off, cause the place he works they have huge prints which cut and sort things for you so it works out good for him, he done loads of invites to my son's birthday party which was last sunday and i really loved them :D not sure about getting him to help me with invitations for our wedding but might in the end, my auntie is a graphic designer and she's done loads of peoples weddings so might rope her into helping us, but managed to convince my partner to let me plan our wedding now Wooohooo :D

I bought a guillotine especially for making invites - quicker, easier and neater! lol x

I was going to buy one but figured it wouldn't get used again so didn't want to waste the money.

Thankfully found a way to put them together so that you can't tell that they have been cut out by hand :happydance:

nearly finished them now just need to add the backs onto them and the diamantes and we are done! x
