Has anyone successfully used wallpaper stripping kits? something like this https://www.simplestrip.co.uk/product-detail/5

We have recently moved into a new place and the wallpapers in the house are a nightmare to remove, other ideas also welcome, thanks.

When I remove wallpaper i just take a spray bottle and medium sized putty knife. I rip off the top layer so the paper is left and then spray the heck out of whats left, then peel off using the putty knife!
Once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty fast!

I just use a normal steam stripper. but recently we had some real tricky linning paper that wud not budge so got some wallpapper stripper solvent. which u put on with a sponge leave to soak (ment to disolve the glue) then remove as normal
was like £5 from bnq

Ive used wallpaper stripping spray before. I cut lines into wallpaper with a knife but only gently so the plaster isn't damaged and then spray. Also soapy water works quite well :)

We got some hot water & fairy liquid. Sponged it on. Then used a scrapy thing to get it off

When we moved into this house every room was covered in wallpaper! We got a steamer but realised that warm soapy water left to soak for a couple of minutes did the job quicker.

Ahh ours was a nightmare too, we borrowed a steam wallpaper stripper to get it done x

I used Clorox Cleanup and the paper nearly fell off the wall. You can't do it where there is carpet you are keeping though as it will bleach it.

we did ours recently, scraped off the first layer then soaked the thin papery stuff off with hot soapy water! did the trick x

We used a bucket of hot water and a sponge, ripped the top layer off and soaked the under paper and peels off a treat!!!
