Rent and Bills!

Hopefully moving out in March/April and am hoping to rent a 1 bedroom flat, and was wondering if anyone else is living in a 1/2 bed flat and how much rent is, and also the cost of bills (food, gas & electricity, water, etc) if no-one minds me asking

My bills are per month:

Rent: 660
council tax: 85
Water: 27
Gas: about 50 depending on how often we've had heating on ( card meter)
Elect: about 25 ( key meter)
Food: 300/400

My non essential is virgin media phone/tv/ intenet. I have extra large package so thats between 75/95 per month.

Thats all i can think of at the moment

hiya, i cant help with rent and council tax because it goes out of hubbys pay before we even see it (RAF)

This is for a 2 bed house though (semi)

Gas/Elec - 50pm
tv license - 12pm (its more when you first start though think its about 30pm)
we dont pay water
food - 200-250pm (thats for 2 adults and a toddler)
sky - 60pm thats for broadband, phone and tv (2packages)

The rest we pay out is for loans and mobile phones etc

I live in a 1 Bed flat in Chelmsford, Essex, 2 Adults, 1 baby.

£460 - Rent
£60 - Electric (no gas and should go down once back at work)
£40 - Water
£115 - Council Tax
£8 - Contents Insurance
£12 - TV Licence
£240 - Food inc. Toliettres, Cleaning Products, Baby Formula
£50 - Virgin Package (Will go down when back at work as reducing package!)

You may also have a service charge in some blocks of flats so please check and factor that in.
