I had some terrible news that my friend and his wife lost their precious little girl.
It's such a hard thing to imagine losing your child..
Sadly Synthea was born very premature and along with that came many, many complications. She was such a fighter through the whole ordeal. She was coming to a point of where she needed a liver transplant, which would give her a possible chance of survival.. However, that wouldn't have been the end of her little fight. They had their meeting with the doctors, and other medical 'professionals', and they decided it wouldn't be in Synthea's best interest to have the transplant..which I find so hard to accept.
Anyway, my friend and his wife we're basically given permission to watch her die. I can't imagine their pain just sitting there counting down until she finally passed away, knowing there was nothing they could do.
I won't post his email, as it's private. However, there was a vital part of the email of which touched my heart.
"To anyone who is reading this. If you have children, neices, nephews, cousins or any children in your life at all make sure you tell them you love them everyday.Make sure you say everything you want to say.Don't hold back because you never know what could happen.I told my daughter I love her every single day.I always talked to her, and on her last 2 days on this earth I told her that her daddy was very proud of her, and that he would never give up on her.Anyone who reads this...try your best to tell people how you really feel. My daughter was 11 months and 1 day old, and now she's gone."
So please.. if you have anyone special in your life, please remind them that you love them.
I'm sorry for anyone who has had the pain of losing someone they love dearly.
My heart goes out to each and every one of you.
