Hey cool, Isabella was born on Keziah-Mays due date! (She ended up being the 15th)
Anyway back on topic, we had sex at 20 days postpartum, when my lochia first stopped, had sex again a fortnight after, once the bleeding had ceased again and a couple of times since.
Just be warned, babies have a tendency to sense intimacy and they don't like it!

i had sex about 26hours after james was born and it was the best sex i ever had lol but james was premmie so i had less tenderness or that down there lol never managed really to get an adult life back lol

Had baby on 22nd of December. Just did today.(Was actually gonna post the same thread lol)


Heard that the days after birth, if you make love, you can have an air embolism. One death was at 8 days postpartum and one 5 days postpartum. (search google for sex after postpartum air embolism)

Not sure how true, but it freaked me out. Had intercourse four weeks after baby number one.

Hi for us-it was 3 months after the birth of our first son (lots of stitches, and took me a while to recover pyhsically and mentally). This time around-only 5 weeks. I feel loads better after this pregnancy and birth, and less stitches and damage down below.

Sadly I don't think my sex life is going to go back to normal - according to my gynae I healed wrong and have some lumpy scar tissue that will probably cause me pain when I try (I've sort of tried but stopped because it hurt so he's probably right)

am told I can have surgery but theres no way I could go through the healing thing again so I think I'd rather not even have sex
