I bought a monokini from River Island and it came yesterday. As soon as i opened the package a few of the flowers off off the chest area so immediately didn't want it as I dred to think what it would have looked like when I take it away in a few months! So I didnt bother to try it on, but it didnt even have a hygiene strip? Is this normal?
When I went into store last week to see if they had it to try on I spoke to the sales assisant who said even if I order online I can return it aslong as it has the hygiene strip?
I'm returning it today by post saying its faulty, whats my chances of a refund?

I would try it anyway, it's not your fault it came without the hygiene strip x

It says on their site that swimwear is non-refundable.

However, seeing as it's defective they should send you a new suit. But you would've had to talk to a customer service representative to report the defect and arrange for them to send you a replacement.

They most likely won't give you a refund though seeing as it's their policy.

non-returnable doesnt count if its got a defect :)

I phoned them up and explained, they will give me a refund as is faulty. But if it wasnt I wouldnt be allowed one even though it didnt come with a hygiene strip which is their fault.
